The Solutionary Lifestyle: A Journey from Black Guns Matter

The Solutionary Lifestyle didn’t just appear out of thin air; it grew organically from the mission of Black Guns Matter (BGM). At its core, BGM was founded to educate people about gun safety and the Second Amendment, creating a community that understands their rights and responsibilities. This focus on education became the first step in a larger conversation about self-reliance, personal empowerment, and the importance of community action.

How Gun Safety Leads to Broader Awareness

Through our free gun safety classes, we realized that teaching individuals how to handle firearms responsibly opened doors to discussions about deeper issues—like the pitfalls of relying solely on government solutions. Many of our students began to understand that true security and safety come from within their communities, not just from external authorities.

This shift in perspective was crucial. It encouraged people to question the status quo and think about how they could take charge of their own lives and influence those around them. By equipping individuals with knowledge about their rights and skills for self-defense, we sparked a movement towards grassroots activism and community building.

The Call for Community and Grassroots Action

As BGM expanded, so did our understanding of what it means to be a Solutionary. It’s about more than just gun safety; it’s about cultivating a proactive mindset. We realized that to tackle the real issues facing our communities—like violence, crime, and disinformation—we need to build strong networks of support.

This means:

  • Collaboration: The Solutionary Lifestyle emphasizes the importance of working together. It’s about voluntary support, sharing knowledge, and and joining forces to create safer environments.

  • Community: We learned that true strength comes from local action. By promoting connections among community members, we can create a solid foundation for tackling challenges head-on.

  • Dialogue: Education doesn’t stop at gun safety. We encourage conversations about personal responsibility, self-reliance, and the importance of understanding the systems that impact our lives. The more informed we are, the better decisions we can make as individuals and communities.

Key Principles of the Solutionary Lifestyle

This led to the development of key principles that define the Solutionary Lifestyle:

  • Physical Power – Train like your life depends on it—because one day, it might.

  • Nutritional Discipline – Fuel your body like a warrior, not a victim.

  • Self-Defense Mastery – From firearms skills to situational awareness—be dangerous, but disciplined.

  • Financial Fortitude – Don’t just earn. Build. Own. Invest. Control your paper, or stay controlled.

  • Mental Resilience – Sharpen your mind like your blade. You are not your emotions—master them.

  • Spiritual Alignment – Tap into something higher. God, purpose, legacy—just don’t ignore the calling.

  • Civic Engagement – Know your government and take back your power—Solutionarys don’t outsource their freedom.

  • Community – You need a tribe. Lone wolves get hunted—Solutionarys build strong alliances.

  • Legacy Building – What are you leaving behind? Build wealth, instill wisdom, and create a mission worth continuing.

The Bigger Picture

The Solutionary Lifestyle embodies the spirit of independence and resilience. It’s about taking ownership of your life and your community, advocating for your rights, and refusing to be passive in the face of challenges.

By integrating the lessons learned from Black Guns Matter into a broader mission of self-reliance and community engagement, we focus on being proactive rather than reactive. It’s about creating lasting change through education, teamwork, and grassroots action.
